Down the street from my office is the fabulous Smithsonian Portrait Gallery and Center for American Art. I highly recommend the art and for the next few weeks there is a Christmas Market on south side of the building. There was a lot of jewelry for sale along with t-shirts, art, food (I had empanadas for lunch), Inca wears, and Fiat was there with my future car (I didn't get a chance to sign up for the free one so I'll have to go back). To top things off there was live music and these guys:

It wasn't quite Bryant Park, but definitely worth checking out to get you in the holiday mood.
