I was born and raised in Missouri and lived on BB Hwy for the first 18 years of my life. After college at the University of Missouri I decided to go to grad school at Texas A&M. A job offer brought me to New York and my first NYC apartment on 79th street. I then moved to Queens and loved the greater feeling of community. When I moved to the city my family suggested I start a blog so they could keep up with my wanderings around the city... Now I also write about crafting, decorating, sports, cooking, and whatever I see around the city. Now I live in Washington DC and will share as I continue exploring.
