On a whim and a tweet I purchased a ticket to see Mike Birbiglia perform his one man show My Girlfriend's Boyfriend at the Gonda Theatre in Georgetown. It was my first time to the Georgetown campus. Luckily there was a bus to take me straight there. If you have a chance to see a show at the Gonda Theatre, you should definitely go. Its a small theater with not a bad seat in the place.

The show is Mike retelling stories about the relationships of his life. He weaves them all together in a gripping and hilarious way. I'd heard a few of the stories from This American Life, but seeing them told live added more life to them. And even though I kind of knew the ending, through his stories I convinced myself I didn't.
He's doing a few limited shows before filming the show, so if you have a chance I definitely recommend checking it out.
I just listened to My Girlfriends Boyfriend on the treadmill last week. I really need to catch up on my This American Life Podcasts.
